I am currently running windows 95 with an Award modular BIOS v4.51PG and an AMD 300 processor. I have tried numerous times to install Windows 98SE and I keep getting the same old problem. My modem will not work correctly. I know the modem is fine Because it works with 95 and this problem has occured with other modems too. The modem installs but when it tries to dial up it restarts my computer. Do I need a BIOS update or has anybody encountered this problem before.

Please help
