Optical drives never require a driver when used in any Windows os from 95 up. Windows 98 provides native support that allows this drive to read a data or music disk. Compatible 3rd party recording software provides the burning support. Nothing else is required. "Will not copy" is a pretty broad statement. Care to refine it a bit?
