Someone please help me. I recently had my puter formatted and installed win2000. I can not hook up to the net for it don't acknowledge the modem. So i downloaded my win98 and all other disks including the sm56 PCI speakerphone modem. i can get on the net using my win98 and when i try in win2000 it says i have no plug 'n' play devices or modem. when i try to download the modem says it's for win95 and will abort the installation. How do i get the right driver for this.

Can i not copy the sm56pci driver onto a floppy and reinstall it on the 2000 and will it work? Please tell me how to propertly do this if i can.
Thank you,
Rita

No, you cannot use Windows 98 drivers in Windows 2000. Please visit the Motorola website link below for proper modem drivers....

And please repost any further driver related requests in our DRIVER REQUEST FORUM, Modem section. We do not allow driver requests in this SUPPORT FORUM.
